The film launched her career. the movie and began receiving better offers from films like Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. American Pie, the cult film about sexual assaults among teens and encounters with girls that Reid played in the role of Vicky the virgin in the movie. The result was not the most successful Hollywood life. Her career was plagued by several failures, including Josie and the Pussycats. A brief cameo in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid is known as a celebrity party-goer or designer than an actual actress.
