Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz, who was born within Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents for the town where she was raised up. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had a Jewish origin. The actress is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Ryder's younger brother is Uria. Ryder's parents moved her along with their children in Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder read a lot due to the absence of television. Ryder was 12 when she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. At the age of 15years old, Ryder was offered her first acting job on the screen in Lucas. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Her acting career, she hoped, would help her. Unfortunately, that did not occur. But that didn't stop her making plans for her future. Her big break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued playing characters that made a splash in a variety of films. In 1993, she received an Academy Awards for The Age of Innocence.
