Jillian Hennessy was born on 1968 on November 25, and is renowned as a gifted Canadian musician, actor and song writer. Her contribution to American TV are well-known. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order where she captivated audiences for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy's acting skills were also evident in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent film, she exercised co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy began her acting career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. She spent a short time on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story. The Buddy Holly Story, and then delved into science fiction in 1993 as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her breakthrough came after the season ended after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. This character captivated viewers for three seasons until she left it in 1996. Parker was in movies and series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America in which she was awarded the Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker received the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
