Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best known for her work as a character in her role in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters, and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que is enamored. She is also a dancer and is also a model. She is a Montreal born native, she grew as a child in Texas and has always been attracted to dance and performing. From the time she was a young child she was trained in various dance forms. She began participating in beauty contests when she was the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 after she was a part of the second season of Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she was the receptionist of Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
